*Why is this called Family Jam? Last year we changed the name of "Religious School" to Jewish Learning Experiences, or JLE (pronounced "JELLY"). It sounds sweet and fun and has led to many puns and some silliness (including gift bags with jelly beans, gel pens, jelly doughnuts, etc). So this year our family program with kindergarten and first graders is called Family JLE.
So what could we call the program for younger children? Something with Joy And Meaning, that fits with the jelly vibe, and invites families to come together to sing and hang out together? How about FAMILY JAM (Joy And Meaning)! Come JAM with us!
