Kabbalat Shabbat (Welcoming Shabbat)

24 Sep @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Please join us, either in person or on zoom, for a special Sukkot gathering led by Michael Margolin, Maddie Halpert, Mike Moritz, Beth Harris and Will Fudeman. We will bring in Shabbat and celebrate Sukkot by connecting with what is precious to us, and grounding ourselves in the natural cycles through ritual, song, prayer, and dance. We will take a deep look at what it means to be Jews and people connected to Jewish community celebrating the harvest through the Feast of Booths (temporary shelters) on stolen indigenous land. We will look at how we can work toward learning, connection and sacred, restorative action alongside the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫʼ. For ritual purposes if you are joining via zoom bring an object that represents Torah -- any deep teaching -- to you.
Masks and social distancing will be required for those attending in-person. RSVP's are requested so we can ensure COVID safe protocols.  RSVP sign ups here
