BMitzvah Coordinator

Michael Margolin is the Tikkun v’Or BMitzvah Coordinator. He is a white,  Ashkenazi, justice centered,  Jewish educator who lives on the unceded territory of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫʼ nation, in  Ithaca, NY. His educational work is guided by visions of a world where all peoples can thrive. He strives to support young people to 

cultivate Jewish practices that help them navigate life challenges, understand their place in the world, and wrestle with social issues.

Michael integrates hands-on, arts and nature based approaches in his work. Michael received a BA in Comparative Religious Studies at Wheaton College in Massachusetts, and a master’s degree in Applied Theatre at City University of New York. He is a lifelong learner of Jewish studies and is passionate about crafting Jewish sacred objects. He loves basketball, enjoys time in nature, and long walks in the forests around Ithaca with his partner and dog. Michael can be reached at michael.margolin@tikkunvor.org
