Shabbat morning services at Congregation Tikkun V’Or are often on weekends when Rabbi Brian Walt is in residence. We usually start with meditation and/or yoga, followed by the morning service, Torah reading, and Torah discussion, ending with concluding prayers. You are welcome to come for all or part of the service!
Shabbat morning services are usually followed by a dish-to-pass dairy/vegetarian lunch (around noon). Please bring food to share. Reusable plates or paper goods are provided.
We also have a casual, highly-participatory lay-led Shabbat morning service about once a month.
On Shabbat mornings with a bar or bat mitzvah, all community members are also welcome to join as family and friends celebrate. There is traditionally a larger oneg (celebratory snack) or lunch after the service, hosted by the bnai mitzvah family.
Specific times and details on each service can be found on the calendar or in the newsletter.
